Get Involved

We’re just getting started with Version 1.0 of the LGCIRR, but we simply won’t get far without the involvement and expertise of others, whether they’re filmmakers, producers, industry professionals and public funding agencies, or from more general backgrounds such as lawyers, accountants, fundraisers, publicists and consultants.

One of the more immediate questions related to the longevity of this initiative involves whether or not to:

i) Formally incorporate the Roadshow Revival as a non-profit, board-governed charitable organization with a selection process for participating films, or;

ii) Let the Roadshow Revival remain a loose and organic collective of like-minded filmmakers promoting one another under the Revival banner.

Both approaches have their benefits and drawbacks, but either way the philosophy and long-term strategy of this initiative needs to be explored and ultimately established — and that is something that simply cannot be done without your involvement and investment of ideas. Let us know what road you think the Revival should take.
